The kids had 2 weeks off in October and we had lots of fun. The first weekend Geoff took Calvin to a father and son campout with church. This picture cracks me up because this is what all boys love to do, play with fire.
I also let the girls invite some friends with us to go summer sledding. We take this sled and go down the side of a big hill at a park and it is so fun. I ended up taking 8 kids to the park!
Lexi and her friends liked sitting in the shade and talking girl talk. Lexi is growing up so fast.
We also went to the cabin with Chrissy and the Vernons the second week of our fall break. Cherryl got a new curling iron and did all the girl's hair. Amber looks so cute with her hair in ringlets.
Lexi looks adorable with her hair in curls also. Amber and Lexi love crossing monkey bars and this is Lexi after just going back and forth on them.
Who doesn't love swinging in the forest?
We also have to take our annual walk around woodland lake when we go to pinetop. There is a dock on the lake and I love this picture of Logan and Calvin being boys and looking at fish on the dock.
Amber pulled up a string attacted to the railing and found this big juicy worm. She didn't mind holding it at all!
Here are all the kiddos in front of the lake. Ashlin even brought her friend Vanessa and she was such a big help with Cooper.
Amber loves her brother and calls him Baby. Everyday I hear her saying "come here baby". Her job is to get his bottle every morining and take him out of his crib and she loves it.
Amber and Dallin are our insect and amphibian lovers. Ashlin found this cute little frog in front of the Cabin and Dallin adopted him. He was so mad he couldn't take him home!
Chrissy and the Vernons left and we had 1 day by ourselves. We took a nice long walk and I took some pictures. This is a cute one of all the kids
