Easter weekend and misc.

On the Saturday before Easter we had an Easter egg hunt and Amber's friends house and 2 birthday parties. Cooper loved finding all the candy filled eggs and couldn't wait to start eating them.

Our two handsome boys enjoying their Easter finds.

Geoff took this cute one of Cooper (I think the sugur rush is kicking in)

Now we are at a birthday party for 2 girls I watch while Calvin is at a little boys party I also watch.
Amber is on her 3rd cotton candy and she is LOVING it! We joked that this one was to much for her to eat but she finished it.

Lexi gave a good smack on the pinata!

Daddy and Cooper had some fun in the bouncer.

For Easter we had my family over and ate in our back yard, a nice way to end the spring break. While we were all together we celebrated calvin's birthday. He gets a transformer cake when he has his party so for now he got to blow out candles on my bunny cakes. They look cute but when you cut them open they had red velvet (bloody) cake on the inside.

I forgot to add this picture of Calvin's mowhawk that Geoff gave him without my permission. He got to have it for 5 days and then it got shaved off! His hair is finally starting to grow back some.

And these are my messy Cooper pictures. On this night Cooper got into my mascera and put it all over himself (I was impressed that he knew to put it around his eyes) and all over my bedroom carpet!

This picture was before Geoff cut his hair, he looks quite younger. I let him (and the other kids I watched) finger paint with chocolate pudding. They loved playing with and eating it.

Spring Break 2008

The kids have off 2 weeks (and a day) for spring break so we tried to have some fun while I still watched kids most days. The first week I took my kids and a child I watch to the Wildlife Zoo and we had lots of fun. In this pic with the kids the tiger is only a few feet away!

I love this silly picture of cooper by the duck pond and the sweet one of him by the flamingos.

Here we are waiting for an animal show to start, they loved it.

They are so excited to ride the train around the park and couldn't wait to board.

Cooper loved the train and looks so cute hanging out on the side of the train checking out the animals, there are some cool animals in the background.

Amber loved petting the animals. Calvin was a little nervous around them all and wouldn't touch them.

Later that week I took my four plus 3 other kids I watch to a toy town play area. We had a fun 2 hours there and then had a picnic in the park. They were worn out and the little ones took a good nap when we finally got home.
Calvin looks very handsome in his firefighting gear. Lexi was the oldest one there but she still liked it and even kept organizing all the houses.

Cooper is way excited about his pretend lunch in the cute play house.

Lexi helped dress all the girls in the dress shop.

Calvin also loved the Pizza Hut house but when Cooper came in for some food he told them they were all out!

That weekend we went to my uncle's cabin 2.5 hours north. It was crazy to leave 80 degree weather and then be in snow a couple hours later. Our kids have only seen snow a few times so they LOVED it.
In almost every picture I take of Calvin he tries to make a silly face, it drives me crazy!

Amber and Dallin are having a little snowball fight while making a snowman.

Amber had enough of the cold for the moment but they sure all look cute bundled up!

The first morning we woke up it was snowing outside and it looked beautiful. Lexi was thrilled to taste her first icicle.

Here are us girls with it snowing around us.

And then the next day we were back at our house enjoying the nice weather. The kids love playing outside everyday and love this new teeter totter from G&G Brady for Calvin's birthday.

On the last Friday of Spring Break I locked them outside so I could clean the house and this is how I found them later on. They decided to fill up the buckets themselves and have a little bath. Lexi is adding cut-up flowers to the buckets for a nice "fragrance".
