Amber and Calvin's birthdays, Thanksgiving and Parade

A big package for the grandchildren arrived from G&G Brady and there was some excitement in the air!

We were surprized to get MORE gifts for Amber. She got some very needed adorable clothes!

Calvin couln't get a better present, he is soo into transformers right now. He is posing as a Deceptacon (the mean transformers).

Lexi was very surprized and happy to get some new jewelry including new earings.

Amber was very excited to try on her new clothes and take a few poses.

We also LOVED the new Mickey Mouse Crocs, the kids all look cute in them.

We didn't have a Webkiz horse and Amber couldn't wait to register her.

Cooper loved playing with his new "shake up" car, he can even do it in mom's heals!

On Cooper's offical Birthday he woke up to a car's Happy Birthday balloon and carried it around with him all day.

We went to Peter Piper Pizza that night with our family and aunt Chrissy and Cooper was very happy with is cupcake (he just blew out his candle)

He also loved aunt Chrissys present of a new truck with big blocks.

Amber had to have her own cake also on her birthday a week in a half later. She is wearing a new dress her aunt Chrissy got.

Here we are at the November Birthday celebration at our house (Amber, Cooper & Grandpa). Cooper got a new fishing set and Amber got a new doggie Webkinz from the Vernons.

I love this picture of my boys hanging out watching TV.

We had Thanksgiving lunch at the Hardisons and I got this quick picture before they got food all over them.

Amber had an adorable Thanksgiving play put on by all the kindergardeners. It was so cute!

Amber was a star that sang "Twinkle twinkle little star" that helped guide the pilgrims across the ocean.

On Dec 1st Lexi participated in the Phoenix APS Lights parade. The Desert Botanical Garden enters a float every year and because Lexi was very involved in their camps this year and was such a good student they asked her to be on the float. It was quite an honor and she took it very seriously. She said her mouth hurt from smiling and her arm was sore from waving.

The Phoenix Zoo - November

My parents had their annual work party at the zoo and invited all the grandchildren. The weather was perfect and we had lots of fun.

Calvin is a scared little pearl in this big clam.

Whoa keep your eyes on the road Amber!

The kids had fun posing in the mist at the entrance to bear mountain.

The boys look a little funny in this picture but the girls look cute. If you notice Cooper has a little bandaid on his knee. Earlier at the zoo he fell and scraped it and it was bleeding a little. Emma walked up and pulled a new bandaid from her pocket for him. She brought it anticipating someone needing one that day! Thank you nurse Emma.

We loved seeing the little monkeys and stayed in this area for a long time checking them out.

They are so cute!

The boys are showing us how strong they are just in case the orangutan family gets loose!

Scottsdale hospital also provided a yummy lunch and face painting.

Of course the girls went with the fairy wings.

Calvin went with a manly spiderman.

We ended the zoo trip with the kids getting soaked in the water fountains. Lexi is trying to save her face painting but she finally gave up and got soaked with everyone else.

Even Cooper loved the water and got all wet.

Early November activities

Here are the kids all strapped into a RV ready for a little road trip. Geoff's work rented the RV for the weekend and only needed it 1 day and we got it the other day so we decided to drive to the Usery Pass mountains and have a picnic and take a hike. It was a fun little trip.

Geoff took the big kids up a little mountain, they are excited to be at the top!

Amber got an early birthday present in the mail from G&G Brady. She was so excited to get the Baby Alive she asked for!
She didn't just get the baby but all the Baby Alive accessories ever made, she was in baby heaven.

Cooper thought the baby hat was for him.

This is the first time she fed her baby and she had an audience for it. They were even more excited when the baby announced she made a poopy and they had to change her. Her friend Joey kept asking, "Is that a real baby?"

We also went to a little carnival at a park near us, we managed to get 3 kids on one ride.

I happen to look up and see superman so I took a quick picture, he is as handsome as everyone says ;)

Calvin and Amber loved seeing the big fire engine at the park, they look so much alike don't they.
I love this picture. On a Saturday morning Lexi made a sign that said "Get fit do Yoga with Lexi" and recruited Calvin for it. I don't think she knows what Yoga is buy they had fun anyway.
