Calvin's birthday party 3/30

Here are all the boys playing with the geo tracks, Calvin had to be the train engineer of course.





























Calvin is looking a little excited about playing the game "tape the smoke stack on Thomas". The kids had to wear Geoff's train hat to cover their eyes.












































Amber was the most confussed about where she was after she got spun around. She is trying to tape her smoke stack on her cousin Logan.





























It was really sweet how on his own Calvin then helped Amber find the right way.














































We all then had "car" sandwiches for our lunch. Calvin's cucumber wheels were sagging so he said it was a broken down car sandwich.

Calvin had cupcakes with car fruit snacks on them.

The weekend before Calvin's party we had the semi-annaul Saguaro Canyon homeowner association party. It was a lot of fun we had bouncers, lunch, desserts, a snowcone machine, raffle prizes and bobbing for apples. I also had a pie eating contest for the kids and Geoff organized an all ages egg toss. This is Lexi eating her pie.





















Lexi participated in the contest 3 times and won it each time! She is a trooper.
































Here are the kids on the bouncers. Because Geoff and I were busy running it our kids loved running around on there own. We kept seeing them with a new snow cone in their hand and Calvin spent almost the whole time in the obstacle course bouncer. They loved the little freedom!

Spring Break

Calvin is loving his new birthday presents!

Lexi sewed her first project! She made a cuddly pupply dog from a kit, she loves it and did a great job.

Cooper just likes making messes!

Amber loves hanging out with mom during the break and not going to school. While Lexi was at camp Amber started playing Lexi's webkinz and loved it. When Lexi finally logged on after not playing for a few days she angrily informed us that all her money was gone and someone bought her all this junk she didn't want. I guess Amber figured out how to go to the store and buy things. To calm Lexi down I told her that Geoff and I would help earn her money back!

The day before spring break we had student led parent confrences at both Amber and Lexi's school. It was so cute how they showed me everything they are doing in the classroom.

You can click on this to see it bigger but this is what Lexi thought she would be doing in the future. I asked her why she didn't want to be married and she said she said she didn't want to marry any of the boys she knows. I guess that is understandable but it did lead to a discussion on how important marriage and family are :)
