September 2007

I did not take many pictures this month. I was busy with the kids school and getting use to taking care of lots of kids at home (I do daycare now). But there is craziness almost everyday so I need to be better at grabbing my camera for it.

I was cleaning the living room and Cooper took this pose which made me stop and get the camera.

On Labor day we went to the Arizona Science Center. Only Lexi has been there before so everyone had a lot of fun.

I love this pictue showing Cooper sucking on a very public rail. Nice very nice...

Calvin is your typical 4 year old who has to look really close when you see something cool.

The most challenging part of the visit is keeping on eye on Cooper. If you set him down he was off and running. Dad and mom had sore arms at the end of the day from carrying him the whole time.

Copper loves his sweets! Here he is SOOO happy while eating a cupcake. His shirt says "50% rough + 50% tough = 100% trouble" which is so true.

I asked the kids what they wanted to do during their fall break and Calvin said he wanted a transformer party. So that day we called up his best friend and started one up. Lexi made a special dessert and we played some transformer games. The kids all helped me make a big transformer so we could play "pin the life force circle on the transformer" blindfolded. We also acted out some scenes with the boys being the good transformers and the girls being the bad ones. Here they are acting like transformers, Calvin can't keep still even for a picture!

July and August 2007

Lexi was baptized! The day after she returned from her Florida/Washington D.C. trip baptized her, it was a wonderful special day for all of us.

This is a blurry picture because our flash wouldn't go off but here is all of us on Lexi's special day.

Of course there is a story behind this picture. I was cooking tater tots for dinner and forgot that there was some spilled food in the oven. So while the tator tots were baking in the oven the spilled food caught on fire under the pan! The kids were in the kitchen with me and went a little crazy when they saw the big fire (which did cause A LOT of smoke in the house). Calvin got on his fireman clothes, which consist of Geoff's cub scout shirt, and the girls improvised. They ran around the house giving me orders and trying to get the smoke out.

Cooper looks handsome even while covered in refried beans! We had fajitas and beans after church and he dug in.

We had a surprize fifties party for my aunt (who turned 50) and had so much fun. Geoff loves to dress up and even found a wig that looked hip.

Lexi loved the whole evening and danced all night!

Lexi loved dressing up so much that the next day she dressed everyone in what she thought was fifties clothes. I love what she put on Calvin, he looks like he should be in an 1980's video!

This is a typical Saturday afternoon at our house. The kids got into the misc. craft items and are making something unsupervised. Of course I don't always let Cooper sit on the island by himself. I told him to stay put while I took a picture. (Not very save of me but that is what happens when you have 4 kids)

In August we got a little family time at my Uncle Ernie's cabin. We had a nice time and Geoff loved getting some fishing in.

This is a cute picture of Amber on a walk. Geoff told Amber this leaf looked like an eyebrow.
